Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a week away and there’s still so much we don’t know about the film. While we know that some familiar faces will show up, there’s still some unconfirmed cast members that we haven’t heard about yet. Well, we at OTN have learned some new information that reveals two new cast members who will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Sources close to OTN tell us that Ruth Livier and Chess Lopez have joined the cast of Multiverse of Madness. We have also been able to confirm that they will play the moms of America Chavez. Their names are Elena and Amalia, respectively.

These castings may not seem like a big deal, but it’s worth noting that the inclusion of these two characters have actually caused some issues with the film releasing in some countries. This is due to the fact that Disney has refused to cut a scene where Chavez refers to her two moms. While we know they’re mentioned, it’s unknown how much screen time they have.

Livier has done quite a bit of work over the years. She had a brief stint on 90210 as well as doing numerous voices for Disney’s Elena of Avalor. But, she has mainly done voices for video games over the years. She’s been in Sly 3, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Dead Rising 3 and more. Lopez on the other hand, hasn’t done as much work. She’s done 3 short films and is currently working on a made-for-TV movie.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness releases on May 6th. Are you excited for the film? Let us know!
