Dragonslayer is a cult hit film that not only didn’t get as much love as it deserved when it was released, but the revolutionary technology used was overlooked as well. Dragonslayer was the first film that ILM, best known for their work on the Star Wars franchise, did work on for a non-Lucasfilm project and the results, especially for the time it was made, are magnificent to say the least. To celebrate the upcoming remaster of Dragonslayer, One Take News sat down with Robbins and when we asked him about the most technically demanding thing on the set of Dragonslayer and how he would’ve used today’s technology to improve Dragonslayer here’s what he had to say:
