Ahsoka is a show that many have been looking forward to. After 15 years, the fan favourite Jedi gets her time to shine and ass we have told you, the internal buzz for the show has been through the roof and was a contributing factor as to why Filoni got his own Star Wars movie. Well, the first reactions to the highly anticipated show have come out and here’s what the critics are saying:

Ahsoka is the brainchild of George Lucas’ protégée, Dave Filoni, who created the character Ahsoka Tano, along with The Clone Wars and Rebels. Filoni also wrote all the episodes and according to sources, directed at least two episodes of the series. Sources also tell us that Lucasfilm execs have been absolutely blown away by the series’ early cuts and that it was a big reason as to why Filoni got himself a Star Wars movie. Jon Favreau produces alongside Filoni as this series is part of the MandoVerse.
