Ariana Greenblatt will have a supporting role in Netflix’s Fear Street: Prom Queen, sources tell OTN. While she was not listed in the cast announcement today, we have been able to confirm that not only is she a part of the cast, but she is currently present for the shoot in Toronto, which begun yesterday.

Netflix did not respond to a request for comment. Should they respond we will update this article.

Greenblatt joins previously announced cast members India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor, and Katherine Waterston in Netflix’s latest adaptation of the Fear Street books. Matt Palmer is directing the film with a script he co-wrote with Donald McLeary. This will be Netflix’s fourth venture into the Fear Street franchise, after successfully putting out a trilogy, starring Sadie Sink, in 2021. No word on if Prom Queen is also the start of a new trilogy but it wouldn’t shock us if that was the case.

Greenblatt is becoming one of Hollywood’s most prominent rising stars. She recently had a supporting role in the cultural phenomenon Barbie, which was nominated for eight Oscars. She’s also been seen in 65, Ahsoka, Stuck in the Middle, Avengers: Infinity War and Love and Monsters. She will return to the big screen this summer as Tiny Tina in Eli Roth’s Borderlands, based on the acclaimed video game of the same name.
