2021 is gonna be getting sent off by Marvel Studios in a glorious blaze of arrows with the new Disney+ series Hawkeye. Today, thanks to our friends at Entertainment Weekly, we got our first look at it.
For those not in the know, The show follows not only one of the founding members of the Avengers, Clint Barton, played once again by Jermey Renner, but also MCU newcomer and fan favourite comics character Kate Bishop, portrayed by Hailee Steinfeld. Check out the first image below:
In a new quote from Renner, he describes Steinfeld’s character:
“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan,” Renner tells EW. “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”
Not only did we get a first image but, we got a release date right during Thanksgiving. Wednesday, November 24th.
