After 40 years, Francis Ford Coppola’s passion project, Megalopolis, is finally a thing and has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival, where Coppola previously won 2 Palme d’Or awards. The Godfather director, who is regarded as one of the greatest directors of all time, famously sold his winery and spent $120M of his own money to independently fund this film and yet, no studio has picked it up yet.
