Following the success of the first Venom film, the follow up Venom: Let There Be Carnage will release later this and with the next trailer rumoured to release tomorrow, the team at One Take News thought that we should do a breakdown of everything we know about the film so far…
What Is The Plot?

While breaking down the first trailer with IGN, director Andy Serkis said
“They are now what is, in effect, the Odd Couple stage of their relationship. They’ve been together for… a year and a half, say, since the last story. And they’re figuring out how to be with each other. And it’s like living with this maniac toddler. ”
He continued to talk about Eddie’s and Venom’s relationship by saying,”really struggling” unable to concentrate or work, and Venom feeling trapped “because he can’t leave Eddie’s body unless he has his permission.”
While the film will have Shriek and Carnage the film will mainly focus on Eddie and Venom’s relationship struggles.
Cast:

Tom Hardy will be back as Eddie Brock and the voice of Venom while Eddie’s ex-wife Anne Weying played by Michelle Williams will also return and said during a interview she hoped that “She-Venom will also get some screen time in the film”.
The film will also see the return/debut of Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady/Carnage, minus the horrible red wig from the post credit scene of Venom as the main villain of the film.
We’ll also see Bond actress Naomie Harris portray the villain Shriek. Stephen Graham will be playing Detective Patrick Mulligan who in the comics has been known to be the host for the fan favourite anti-hero symbiote Toxin.
When Will the Film Release?
The film is scheduled for worldwide release on September 24th, 2021 in theatres exclusively. A third Venom film is in development.
