Hawkeye premieres on November 24, and the fact that Alaqua Cox is playing Echo in the series definitely doesn’t do anything to lower the hype. Now, we have some more info on the criteria that Marvel is looking for to appear in Hawkeye.
“Jessica” & “Iris”
According to a story post from Alaqua Cox on Instagram, Marvel Studios is looking for 2 characters in Echo, “Jessica”, and “Iris”. Take a look:
Both require deaf female actresses. It was also noted that filming will begin in February 2022.
Echo releases in 2022/2023 on Disney+, and has been reportedly fast-tracked by Marvel/Disney.
