The Gray Man is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest films ever. With Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo behind the camera and a star-studded cast that includes Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ana De Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton and Alfre Woodard, it sounds like we’re in for quite the ride. Well, another big name in the mix is popular Indian actor Dhanush. Fans have been wondering who he’d be playing in the upcoming film. Now, we’ve learnt which role the Russo Brothers gave him. One Take News has learned Dhanush will be playing an assassin in The Gray Man. He’s described as “highly skilled”. We see him introduced in a hand-to-hand combat sequence and by the end of the film, he undergoes a character arc due to the actions of another character in the film. His screen time isn’t super prominent but he does have a few big action sequences. As someone who’s never heard of Dhanush, i’m very excited to see him in the film. If the film proves popular and so does his character, this could lead to many more big budget action films in the future.
