Vanessa Hudgens is looking to return for Bad Boys 4, sources have confirmed to One Take News. Her deal isn’t fully closed yet but sources say it’s heading in that direction.
Sony had no comment.
Hudgens made her Bad Boys debut in 2020’s Bad Boys For Life as Kelly, the weapons expert of the AMMO. No word on how she will fit into the plot of this film but she’s likely going to play a supporting role.
Bad Boys 4 has been in the works since 2020 but after Slapgate, those plans were put on the back-burner. However, sources tell OTN that in January 2023, those plans went full speed ahead and pre-production began in Atlanta. The film is looking to begin rolling cameras sometime next month. Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are returning to helm the latest instalment and we’ve heard that they’re also being eyed for another exciting project. However, once Bad Boys 4 became a priority that project got pushed back a bit. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are also returning but nobody else is expected to return yet.
Twitter account @FilmUpdates was the first to report the news of Hudgens’ return followed by Deadline backing it up earlier this afternoon.
Bad Boys 4 currently has no release date. Are you excited for the latest instalment in the franchise? Let us know!
