UPDATE: On January 17th, 2022, The NFL Wild Card game had an advertisement for Moon Knight saying it will indeed debut on March 30th, 2022. Our report has now been confirmed!

Moon Knight is probably one of the most anticipated shows of the year. With a star studded lineup that includes Oscar Issac as the titular hero, it’s not hard to see why. Moon Knight is one of many new characters leaping from the pages to live action. Sadly, Moon Knight is not a household name yet but he’s about to become one.

Multiple sources have told One Take News that Moon Knight will indeed be the first MCU show of the year and will premiere on March 30th, 2022. We’ve also heard that the first trailer isn’t far off either and should be here soon. We were planning to post this as an exclusive but the people over at THS posted it right before us.

Moon Knight is going to be the first of many shows to introduce many characters to the MCU via a Disney+ show. Personally, I think this is a great way to introduce characters and give them full arcs and all the exposition needed. This way, we can care about them and connect to them going forward. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has said that Marc Spector will cross over to the MCU movies after the show into, hopefully, some Moon Knight films or crossovers with other heroes.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Issac, May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke and will release March 30th, 2022.
