Turning Red is a hotly anticipated film from Pixar and so far, early reactions to the film have been overwhelmingly positive. Something that hasn’t surprisingly been released yet is the film’s final runtime. Well, we here at One Take News have learned just that. So, how long will we follow Mei Lee and her friends in Turning Red? Let’s find out!

Multiple sources tell OTN the final runtime for Turning Red is 99 minutes. In other words, that’s one hour and thirty-nine minutes of Pixar goodness!
This makes the film about one minute longer than Wall-E and a minute shorter than Toy Story 4. Personally, I think this seems like a good middle ground running time as long as pacing is good. The film is getting good reactions so far so I don’t think that’ll be an issue.

Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda! Directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins. Turning Red launches exclusively on Disney+ on March 11, 2022.
