If you loved Ms. Marvel as much as I did (probably not), then the past few days have been very exciting. Heavily corroborated rumors have been swirling saying that Marvel’s highest rated project has been greenlit for a second season. Well, I’ve been doing some digging the past few days and I believe that I have found quite a bit of evidence to confirm that a second season is indeed in the works.

THIS ARTICLE WILL BE UPDATED AS TIME GOES ON

As Kevin Feige stated in the past, Ms. Marvel along with some of the other Disney+ shows were made with a second season in mind. Well, I’ve heard that discussions were indeed held for a second season but I could not get confirmation as to whether or not a second season was greenlit.

This past weekend, insider Daniel Ritchman shared that he heard a second season was greenlit. Despite this, I still have not been able to confirm whether or not a season has been greenlit. A few hours after this, Screen Rant reached out to Disney for comment on the matter and they “neither confirmed nor denied Ms. Marvel’s reported season 2 renewal”. Saying this is never confirmation but neither confirming nor denying usually leans towards a confirmation as an outright denial would usually be given in this case.

The next piece of evidence is something while maybe not as concrete, could still be a telling sign. With some help from Charles Murphy of Murphy’s Multiverse, I was able to do some digging and find out that Circle Q Productions LLC, the production house created for Ms. Marvel (named after the convenience store Bruno works at in the comics and the show) was recently re-activated in the U.K, hinting that they could have further use for the production house in the future. This one could be a bit of a stretch due to Marvel having a tendency to keep these LLCs active but the fact that they changed locations from the U.S to the U.K is certainly interesting.

This however, just might be the most concrete piece of evidence so far. Ms. Marvel directors and executive producers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah recently took to Instagram to post a clip from a Ms. Marvel featurette with the caption “who’s ready for season 2?!”. Now, directors like to tease stuff all the time and it’s not uncommon. Mohamed Diab certainly did tease a second season of Moon Knight in a viral video from a while back. But outright saying that a second season is happening, as El Arbi and Fallah have done here, is something very uncommon and when they say something like this, it’s almost always true.

Just to try our luck as well, we at OTN have reached out to Disney and Marvel Studios for comment on the matter. We will update you if/when we receive a response.
