Logan break out Dafne Keen has finalized a deal to join the cast of Star Wars series The Acolyte, sources have confirmed to One Take News. In true Star Wars fashion, the details of her role are being kept heavily under wraps but sources say she will be playing a key role in the series.
Plot details for The Acolyte are being kept close to the chest but the official synopsis says “The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era”.
Lucasfilm declined to comment. Reps for Keen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Keen joins an already stacked cast featuring Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto and Charlie Barnett, who are listed on the call sheet. Per Star Wars site Bespin Bulletin, the show started filming last week and will last until May 2023. Keen’s involvement in The Acolyte was first reported on The Hot Mic.
Keen is represented by Independent Talent and Public Eye.
