Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has had a very long and turbulent production. After the tragic death of star Chadwick Boseman, the film underwent changes and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film has been shooting on and off for over 7 months now in Atlanta and was originally scheduled to wrap in March. However, that schedule has now changed as another destination was added to the production schedule.

Multiple sources tell One Take News that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be filming in Puerto Rico sometime soon. While we aren’t sure of the full context of the shoot, one source indicated that this was meant to double for Haiti.

Personally, I’m pretty pumped to see them filming in a new location and how it’ll factor into the story. But, this also concerns me as well. The production of this film has already been significantly troubled and having them add a new location so late into filming makes me think this film won’t make the November 2022 release date. Regardless, i’m super excited to see how it factors into the story.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently in production and releases November 11th, 2022. What do you make of this news? Let us know!
