UPDATE: A day after this article was published, Collider claimed they heard the same runtime. We’ve backlinked their article here.

Jurassic World Dominion is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year and with so little leaks on the film out there, fans are left to speculate as to what happens in the movie. Not to mention that it’s anyone’s guess when it comes to information about the film. Well, we at One Take News have been doing some digging and have learned about the film’s final runtime and we’re proud to be reporting it.

We can proudly report from trusted sources that the final runtime for Jurassic World Dominion will be 146 minutes and 57 seconds, or 2:26:57 and yes, that includes credits. I do expect most theatre chains or listings to round this up to 147 minutes though so don’t get mad at me when it doesn’t say 146 minutes.

For comparison, Jurassic Park was 127 minutes, or 2 hours and 7 minutes. The Lost World: Jurassic Park was 129 minutes, or 2 hours and 9 minutes. Jurassic Park III was 92 minutes, or 1 hour and 32 minutes. Jurassic World was both 124 minutes, or 2 hours and 4 minutes. The latest Jurassic film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was 129 minutes, or 2 hours and 9 minutes.

With this, Dominion is officially the longest entry in the franchise. Director Colin Trevorrow finished the film on November 6th, 2021 and it seems that the audiences have taken a liking to the prologue released with F9 along with the trailer. I hope Trevorrow makes the most of the runtime and packs it with as much goodness as possible in order to send off this chapter of the Jurassic franchise.

Jurassic World Dominion will be released on June 10, 2022. What do you make of this news? Let us know!
